Other ways you can help…

Make a Direct Donation

Make a direct donation by check or credit card! Donations come to the station from listeners and supporters across the country in large and small amounts. Remember, your donations are essential to keeping WOVV on the air and are completely tax deductible. Donate directly through Paypal.

Volunteer at the station

We need programmers, technical help, sound engineers and office volunteers. Volunteer to help at the Annual 10/5K Race or The Annual Women’s Arm Wrestling Tournament, our two big, yearly fundraisers.

Underwriting

Underwriting is a great way to support WOVV if you own a small business. We currently air underwriting announcements for over 40 local businesses and invite you to join our family of WOVV underwriters.

Corporate Sponsorships

Corporate sponsorships for our fundraising events are always needed through cash donations and gifts-in- kind.
We publicize the sponsors for all of our events on site the day of and ahead of time locally on banners, posters and over the air.

The Outer Banks Community Foundation

Over the years, WOVV has maintained a close relationship with OBCF and have been the recipients of grant awards totaling over $20,000. We have established an endowment fund for WOVV with OBCF that will provide for the long term sustainability of Ocracoke Community Radio. Visit obcf.org to find out more about this exciting new way to support WOVV.
